Free Inkspect for open-source projects

Maintaining open-source software takes care. We support that work with free Inkspect Cloud AI Credits for projects accepted into our open-source program.

Every application is reviewed individually. After approval, our team manually adds free credits to your workspace and confirms the allocation in your support conversation. Applying does not automatically grant credits or promise unlimited usage or recurring top-ups.

Connect your repository, then apply

Sign in to Inkspect, create or select your workspace, and add your public GitHub repository before sending an application.

• Connect GitHub and add the repository you want us to review.
• Open that repository and choose Apply for free credits, or select Free Inkspect for open source in Support.
• Tell us about the project, its sector, users, open-source license, your role, and how you plan to use Inkspect.
• Follow the application in Support → Your requests. We’ll reply there with questions or the outcome. Free credits are added manually after approval.

A little context helps us support your work

Apply for a public repository available under an open-source license. You should maintain the project or be authorized to represent it. A public repository alone does not establish that a project is open source; include the license so we can review it.

Describe what you are building, the people it serves, and your expected usage, such as pull requests per month and the size of the changes. We use those details to assess the application and decide the credit allocation.

Use one application per repository while it is being reviewed. If you need to add details, reply to the existing request. Your workspace and signed-in contact details are included automatically, and the application form uses a security check to help prevent abuse.

Credits for the work ahead

Approved credits cover Inkspect AI usage within the allocation we confirm. If you need more, reply to your application so we can review your needs. Extra credits and renewals require a separate review; they are not added automatically.

You can also self-host the open-source Inkspect review engine. You operate the infrastructure and cover your AI provider costs.
